A native New Jerseyan, Melanie Henson took a giant leap of faith ten years ago when she moved to Southern California, along with her husband and son.

But that wasn’t the only challenge she faced. For the first time ever, she realized she would have to find work in a locale that leaned more on visual and screen media than publishing houses.

That’s when she found her niche: writing web pages, press releases and blog posts for clients who truly wanted their voices to be heard. Far from cookie-cutter content, these exciting and thoughtful companies each had a unique story they wished to share with their site visitors.

Encouraged by her early success, she began actively seeking freelance work. But after just a few projects, Melanie decided to take the plunge and go into business for herself. Since then, she has written copy ranging from About pages to product blogs to restaurant menus…and more.

Ten years later, Melanie continues to offer a personalized, targeted experience for each of her happy clients.

In her spare time, Melanie enjoys hiking in beautiful California and Southern Utah, watching cover-your-eyes suspense films, reading, swimming, celebrating every holiday to eleven, and working on her very first novel.
